Year 2 students learnt how to draw their self portrait. Using this knowledge we expanded on it and I had the children add a snorkel and goggles. The students outlined the sketch in black pen and used very pale blue dye to paint the inside of the goggles. The face was cut out and glued onto light blue card. We then added a fish which was drawn onto plastic and coloured in with bright coloured vivids. PVA glue was used as it dries clear.
