Year 2 students sketched lizards in their sketch books first. We used bright coloured dyes and black vivid pens for detailing. The lizards were cut out and a fold placed down the middle to them.
The children then learnt how to use Printing foam to produce the background design. They softly drew their leaf shapes onto the foam and then used a thick sketch pencil to indent the lines. These were printed with black ink.
